The Stewart Family Creed
I pledge allegiance to God and family with integrity and loyalty in remembrance of our lineage. God bless the Stewart family and preserve our crest as a symbol of love, peace and unity.
RATIONALE: The inspiration for the above mentioned creed occurred during the development of the Stewart family crest (flag). Furthermore, every crest (flag) or coat of arms that symbolizes or defines a specific family or nation is often accompanied by a family motto or creed of nation, either in the form of prayer or song. In this instant the Stewart family crest is an embodiment of our values and principles; while the Stewart family creed articulates our collective philosophy. In essence the Stewart family crest and creed are in keeping with a long-standing universal tradition of distinction.
